A 3-year-old boy with Down Syndrome was having a hard time making friends and his parents reported that he was feeling very lonely, according to Faithtap.
When the family’s gentle labrador realized that the boy was sad, they formed an instant bond and the dog began to play with the boy in the most understanding and nurturing way we have ever seen.
What’s most amazing is that the dog realized they should be gentle with the small child and take their time with a bit of caution.
You can tell by watching the video that the dog realizes the young boy has particular needs, and treats him with utmost kindness and a compassion that is incredibly adorable and heart warming.
