Australian Zookeeper Giles has formed a special bond with the Tigers at Australia Zoo.
Not only does he help tigers who already live in the zoo, he has also taken on the task of making sure that younger tigers learn to adapt to their new surroundings.
Among that integration is ensuring that the tigers learn to use their massive swimming pool.
As Giles explains, Tigers have webbing between their toes that make them one of the few cat species who not only love swimming, but also display powerful skills in the water.
When one baby tiger becomes very hesitant about taking their first swim in the large pool, Giles jumps in and shows them that it’s safe and fun to take a dip.
