Meet The Oceans Creepiest Creatures, They Almost Don’t Seem Real

A vast majority of our planet is covered by water and with all of our Oceans and Lakes there is no way we could possibly decode all of their deep water mysteries. When we visit an aquarium we look at Dolphins and Sea Otters, and Sharks, and Whales, but what about the blob fish and water bear?

This collection of sea creatures features some animals that don’t seem real — but they are. For example, the water bear is the only known living organism to survive the vacuum of space. Look close enough and you can actually see the Barrel Fish’s brains.

The look of this shark is accurately captured by its name. Check out the damage it can do to its food in a matter of seconds.

7. Mola Mola

The Mola Mola is the world’s largest bony fish on record. This beast can weigh up to 5,000lbs.

8. Bobbit Fish

This fish reminds us of the movie Dune. A Bobbit Fish can grow up to 10 feet in length and they can snap a fish in half with a single bite.

9. Red-Lipped Batfish

Just a creepy looking fish with crazy red lips.

10. Salp

This awesome sea creature eats carbon from the water. See-through and they help the planet, how cool is that!

11. Sarcastic Fringehead

12. Squidworm

The Squidworm features 10 tentacle-like appendages that are longer than its whole body. The tentacles are used to collect food.

13. Water Bear

Water Bear’s are less than 1mm in length and they are the first living creatures that are known to have survived the vacuum of space.

These creature might be strange looking, but they are also incredibly unique and seeing them in person is likely a once in a lifetime type of event.
