Tony Bennett Does It All
Long before Tony Bennett pulled in 19 Grammy Awards or collaborated with Lady Gaga, he wanted to be a painter. What most fans don’t know is that Bennett actually is a successful painter, he just goes by his real name Anthony Benedetto rather than his stage name. Bennett’s primary mediums are watercolor and oil paint, but he also sketches. His work has been hung in galleries across the world and he was even the official artist for the Kentucky Derby in 2001 (who knew they had an official artist?). Bennett was also commissioned by the United Nations to create two paintings. Art and music? What can’t Tony Bennett do?
