First grader, Vincent Butterfield, found out that his best friend was being treated for a fast spreading cancer. He didn’t want his buddy to go through the process by himself, so he decided to help him in any way he could.
Vincent started by selling homemade scarves, earning more than $200 for his friend’s expensive chemotherapy treatments. Vincent also didn’t want his friend to feel different, so he shaved his own head.
When asked what friendship means, the 1st graders answer is beautiful.
