This Weatherman Is Brilliant. Watch Him Explain Crazy Temperatures During A Map Glitch

When FOX 10’s Accuweather map for the Phoenix-metro area messed up, weatherman Cory McCloskey didn’t let 3000 degree temperatures interrupt his broadcast. Instead, he urged people to consider evacuations, even though he claimed “I’m not your dad” when giving them advice. The experienced weatherman could have stumbled, instead he gave viewers something to laugh about and continued on with his entire forecast.

Remind me to never visit Ahwalukee or Cave Creek. As Cory points out when providing the Cave Creek temperature, “doesn’t steel melt at that temperature… don’t bother looting, everythings gone.”

For the record, Cory McCloskey was not wrong, steel often melts at around 1370 degrees celsius or 2500 degrees fahrenheit.
