Mother Michelle went through the one thing every parent has nightmares about, she lost her son Blaine in a tragic accident. Michelle was also struggling financially which meant she would have to head back to her job only a short period of time after losing her child. Australian radio station KIIS 1065 decided they wanted to help the mother, and what they did was amazing.
The radio station set up a “spa day” so they could get Michelle and her family to ride in a video equipped car and have the radio on so they could surprise her live on the air with the good news that they would be helping pay some of her bills.
The radio station collected enough money to pay Michelle’s mortgage for the next six months, and they provided her with $5,000 to finish an outdoor renovation project.
As expected the grief stricken mother was overjoyed with the radio stations help and support during such a tough time in her life.
