At first view, this art project of a dog by artist Joel Brochu looks like a lifelike portrait. The truth, however, is so much more cool.
The photo was brought to life with sprinkles, 220,000 of the tiny toppings to be exact.
Brochu came up with the idea and then set out to attach all of the sprinkles using two-sided tape.
A closer look reveals the portraits beaded design.
Each sprinkle was meticulously placed to give a lifelike texture.
Sprinkles were placed on top of solid areas to add shading and depth.
Each sprinkle touches one another to avoid gaps.
This art project must have taken a nearly inhuman amount of patience.
