Australian artist Ray Collins captures some of the most magnificent waves I have ever seen in photography. Just capturing the massive ocean spectacles would have been enough, but instead, he “freezes” them in a state that makes them look like massive mountains suspended as water.
The power and majesty of the sea are perfectly captured in every photograph the artist takes.
Collins writes that he “feels more at home floating in saltwater with his camera than anywhere on land.” He doesn’t just capture waves, he is also a highly accomplished surf sports photographer.
