It's amazing how much a haircut can change your face. When you're a furry little dog and you're covered in fur, a haircut can do even more to change the way you look. Some of the dogs on this list are unrecognizable after they come back from the groomer.
They must feel so much lighter after getting a little trim. Keep reading to see some dogs who lost some hair but gained a new look.
Before And After
This little dog was looking kind of scruffy before he went to the groomer. Now he can actually see out of his big brown eyes. What a change! Do you like the before or the after better?
She's A Lady
This little girl was looking kind of scruffy, and now she looks so much more refined. She even has a little bow clipped to her ear now and a matching pink collar.
A Little Trim
This dog was adorable before her haircut, but then she got a little trim and now she looks like a whole new dog. The pink bandana is a nice touch.
A Yellow Bow
This dog was cute before her haircut, but now she looks positively adorable. That little yellow bow is the perfect finishing touch, and her ears look so much smaller now.
What A Face
This dog's face was starting to look rather scruffy. He was definitely in need of a haircut. Look at him now, though. He's wearing a red tie and he looks more handsome than ever.
That Schnauzer Beard
This Schnauzer was getting a bit hairy before he went to see the groomer. They gave him a little trim and shaped his beard, and now he looks like a brand new dog.
Where Did His Hair Go?

Bring Out The Big Dogs
This labradoodle was looking super fluffy, and now he looks like he lost half his weight in hair. We kind of liked the fluffy look, but he needed to let his body breathe during the hot summer months.
No More Tangles
This dog's fur gets kind of curly when it gets long. Now that it's cut short, it just looks fluffy. The dog looks like one big fluff ball. We think he looks cute with long fur or with short fur.
Straight Hair, Don't Care
This pup looks like his hair has been straightened, but really it's just been washed and brushed. We bet he can see so much better now that there isn't hair covering his eyes.
Goodbye Scruff
This pup looks like he's been exercising. Really, his haircut just makes his muscles look more defined. If only it worked that way for humans. He's looking super sharp post-haircut.
Perfectly Coiffed
This dog now has a lot more shape to his coat. That little tie is also adding to his new look. We kind of love that little poof of fur on his head.
A Pomeranian Makeover
This Pomeranian was so fluffy! Then the got his hair trimmed, and now his fluff looks so much more dense. We think he looks cute no matter what his fur looks like.
A Pampered Poodle
This poodle was looking pretty gray before he came into the salon, but now he looks so much younger. The groomer didn't dye his hair. This is all down to a haircut.
A Whole New Look
This pup looks like a whole different dog with his snazzy haircut and his flashy yellow tie. We can barely even recognize him in the after picture. What a transformation!
How Did His Ears Get Fluffier?
This dog's ears look even fluffier than they did before his haircut. How is that possible? Did the groomer add hair onto him? That might explain where all the hair from his legs went.
Fix Those Eyebrows
This little pup's eyebrows were kind of out of control before he went to the groomer. Now he looks so much more gentlemanly. This is a pretty amazing dog transformation.
A Clean Dog
This Airedale terrier was in need of a good grooming. He looked pretty dirty before his big makeover. Now he looks like a completely new dog. His fur even looks lighter.
He Can See Clearly Now
This pup was having a hard time seeing behind all of that hair. Now he's looking super fresh. His ears look so much shorter without all that hair hanging off of them.
Goodbye Shaggy Mane
This little dog was starting to look like a lion with that big mane of fur on his head. Now that he's been to the groomer, he looks like a dog again.
A Fresh Face
This big curly doodle was looking kind of crazy with all of that hair. Now she just looks poofy. We're not sure which version of this dog we like better.
Tiny Grooming
This little Yorkie is so small! They must have had to use really small scissors to cut his hair. He looks super fresh and clean after his bath and haircut.

This little Yorkie looks a little bit bigger than the one we just saw. He also didn't start off looking quite as scruffy. His haircut is just as nice, though.

Big Changes
The groomer needed to use a lot more shampoo on this big poodle. We're moving on from tiny dogs to take a look at this handsome man who just got a haircut.
Instant Facelift
This pup got a haircut, but it really does look like she got an instant face lift. She looks so different now! Her head is so perfectly round and fluffy.
Some Spring In Her Step
This is Holly, and she's a springer spaniel. Her hair was getting kind of wild and crazy there for a minute. She was starting to look like an '80s glam rocker.
