A Teen Opened Her Home During A London Terrorist Attack
A British teen opened the doors of her home to victims of the September Parsons Green terrorist attack. A bomb prematurely detonated on the London underground’s District line leaving commuters displaced throughout the west London neighborhood. Holly Leslie and her mother, Susan knew they needed to help. “It’s just the London spirit, really. It’s like ‘keep calm, carry on’ so any way we can help,” Holly explained. Mom, Susan said, “We are trying to help people because we realized we don’t have any restaurants around here and people need to go to toilets or need to charge their phones,” Susan explained. “In adversity like this, we need to come together, help each other.”
