Community Forms A Human Chain To Rescue A Family
Complete strangers banded together to form a human chain to rescue a drowning family caught in a Florida riptide. More than 80y beachgoers rushed into the water and joined hands when they heard the cries for help in Panama City. It all began when a mother of four was enjoying a day at the beach when she saw two of her boys caught in a deadly riptide. She bravely swam out to their rescue, but she also got swept up by the water, as did the boys’ grandmother who followed her daughter in. That’s when a group of brave beachgoers took over and bonded together to form a chain strong enough to pull everyone back safely onto land.
