The Classic Cake
One of the most common gender reveals is the classic “cut-into-a-cake” scenario. People who choose this way to reveal whether their new addition is a boy or girl cut into the cake and the color, either pink or blue, indicates what the child will be. One person who did this was Cher Lair of Apex, North Carolina. Cher was the mother of SIX boys, and was expecting her seventh baby. Of course, after having so many sons, she had basically expected to have yet another one. Cher said, “Initially, on baby three and four I’m thinking ‘They’ll be a girl at some point. They can’t all be boys.’ But after four and five and six, You’re kinda thinking, yeah they can.” As Cher was surrounded by her family for her gender reveal she cut into the cake, only to reveal that indeed, she got her baby girl. Cher immediately started screaming and even fell to the floor. There is no doubt that the little girl will definitely be the princess of the family!
