Heavenly Hailey

In 2011, Hailey was born in Puerto Rico. When she was a tiny tot of only 18 months, Hailey’s parents noticed that something seemed to be wrong with her health. She was taken to the doctor where they discovered she had acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The little girl had to undergo rigorous treatments as a young baby. She started her treatment program in Puerto Rico before being moved to St. Jude’s Hospital.
Ultimately, Hailey was able to receive a bone marrow transplant which gave her another shot at life. After receiving the transplant, Hailey could finally say she was cancer free as a five-year-old. Hailey is now seven years old and a totally normal little girl who has been cancer free for five years. She enjoys playing with toys and dressing up.
