Skydiving Instructor Saves Man Who Has Seizure Mid-Jump

YouTube user Nomadic Adrenaline nearly lost his life on November 14, 2014. He was jumping out of a plan as part of stage five of an Accelerated Free Fall program, when he started having a seizure.

The dangerous episode started at approximately 9,000 feet, and it could have ended his life. The skydiver began a 30 second free fall, at which point his jumpmaster caught up and pulled the ripcord at around 4,000 feet.

The slowed decent allowed the unnamed man to become conscious at 3,000 feet, at which point he safely navigated himself to the ground without injury.

The YouTube video has racked up more than 4.6 million views in less than 24 hours.
