Shirley Webb could barely get off the floor two years ago, then she felt the rush of her first workout at the gym and she was immediately hooked.
The 78-year-old weightlifter has gone viral after deadlifting 225 pounds.
The video was recorded by her trainer last month and the grandmother, who visits the gym twice a week, instantly became a source of inspiration for more than six million viewers.
Since then, she tells KTVI in St. Louis, that she is even stronger–lifting 235, and then 245 pounds.
