Grizzle the cat recently made some unusual new friends in her hometown of Dutch Harbor, Alaska.
No it wasn’t another stray cat from the neighborhood, or even a friendly dog that decided to get along with random cats.
Instead, Grizzle came face-t0-face with two bald eagles.
While this situation would normally end with a nice little furry meal for the bald eagles, they didn’t seem to mind sharing a perch with their new furry friend.
“These eagles are raised in a very unique environment,” said Facebook user Kimi Braun. “They are VERY used to humans, and routinely are found along railings, on pots, fences and other objects within touching distance of humans, foxes, cats, dogs. Food is also extremely abundant for them. It would be like hunting a deer in the middle of a Vegas buffet line.”
Here’s the very cool video.
Amazing When the eagles are quietly on the balcony with the cats
