After an entire family of neglected ducks, were trapped in the home of a hoarder.
The birds were rescued by the fine folks at Woodstock Farm Sanctuary. The group began efforts to rehabilitate the sick and injured ducks.
Initially, the ducks were so malnourished and mistreated that some could barely walk.
Eventually the ducks rescuers realized another sad fact — they had never been near a body of water.
The Woodstock staff worked tirelessly and nursed the poor birds back to health and then introduced them to the wonders of a pond.
At first the birds were skittish, but eventually they jumped in the water and had the time of their lives.
