Typically when we get pulled over by the police we are served with some type of ticket. A $100 fine during the holiday’s is definitely not the way most of us want to spend money when we have presents to buy.
For several people in Lowell, Michigan, being pulled over was not only a good thing — it literally made their Christmas. That’s because police in the area were pulling over residents, and then giving them exactly what they wanted to Christmas.
The viral video, uploaded to YouTube on December 9, has already received more than 185,000 views. Here’s how it worked:
The process started with an officer asking people casually what they or their kids were hoping for on Christmas Day.
A team of volunteers were waiting for a wish list that was relayed to them by the officer.
Each gift was secretly handed to the police officer who then delivered it to the people they pulled over. In some cases multiple gifts were given so each child could have a very special Christmas.
The gifts were not all small. Check out the flat screen TV this lucky guy received.
The gifts were quickly wrapped, making them extra special.
This guys reaction puts into words the entire gift giving spree.
It was easy to see the Christmas cheer that the Lowell City Police Department delivered to residents.
What would you ask the Lowell Police for if you could have one gift this holiday?
