The Clapham Common tube station in London’s Underground is looking a little bit different these days. That’s because pictures of cats have replaced every single advertisement in the location.

The new campaign was created by CATS. No, not your furry friends, but rather “Citizens Advertising Takeover Service.”

CATS was funded via Kickstarter with nearly 700 people pledging more than 23k GBP to get the project up and running.James Turner noted in

On his blog, event organizer James Turner wrote, “This isn’t a clever marketing stunt. The people behind it are volunteers. We want to inspire people to think differently about the world and realize they have the power to change it.”

For the next two week’s Clapham Common will feature the adorable pictures of cats.

Here are just a few examples of how cats have taken over London’s Underground Station.
