Under The Sea Dreams
When Alex Rigby was on vacation in Orlando, Florida with his girlfriend Debbie Preston, he knew it was the right time to orchestrate the perfect engagement. It just so happens that one of Debbie’s lifelong dreams was to swim with the dolphins. Alex arranged for the two to fulfill one of her “bucket list” dreams, but also had an additional surprise of a lifetime waiting for her. Alex took Debbie to SeaWorld’s Discovery Cove where you can swim with the dolphins. He spoke to the center before they arrived, telling them his plans, and they quickly agreed to help. The animal trainers had a dolphin hand Debbie a buoy that was personalized with the phrase, “Debbie, will you marry me?” The two later made it to dry land where Alex got down on bended knee and of course, Debbie said yes. Alex joked with Today, “My friends are all saying that I have really set the bar high and now their girlfriends have expectations.”
