Almost every owner has caught their pet doing something completely hilarious. Our furry pals are there to put a smile on our faces and give us all the love in the world. Photos of animals usually end up one of two ways. Most of the time pet pictures are just plain adorable, but there are moments where the camera captures something downright funny. Keep reading and get ready to giggle at these fun-loving pets looking sillier than ever.
There's A Lot Going On Here
People may not notice this Chihuahua at first glance because she's right in the middle of a bunch of brightly colored handbags. When staring into her big black eyes you'll likely get a sense of what she's feeling about her outfit situation.
This adorable dog is dressed up to celebrate at a local parade, while adorned in a hot pink dress, scarf, and flower hat. Almost anyone is guaranteed to stop and do a double-take when they see her passing through.
She Was Over This Photo Before It Even Started
The human holding up her dog in the photo had just taken her to get blessed in a religious ceremony. After it was over, they decided to get a photo together and her dog had a few ideas about how to pose.
Not only is she wearing a hot pink cozy jacket with matching fur clips, but she showed her silly side by sticking her tongue out. Her owner most likely hid behind her to prevent herself from cracking up in the photo.
On The Road Again
One of the most ancient dog breeds is the French Mastiff, seen in the photo. This particular dog loves to go on long car rides with his owner in their white courier van.
The driver most likely asked him for directions and he was checking out the side to see if they were on the correct street. Well, maybe that actually didn't happen, but it would be funny to think that's what they were doing.
Another Day At The Beach
This is a Jack Russell Terrier that loves to do synchronized dives off cliffs with her owner in Marsaxlokk, Malta. She has quite a lot of fans in the area who come to watch her plunge from great heights into the blue ocean.
Don't expect this pup to jump on her own. Her owner, Carmelo Abela, says that the only way to get her to jump is if they do it together. The dog simply won't dive with anyone else.
This Will Get Any Cat Excited
A cat exhibition near Tel Aviv, Israel featured a Maine Coon cat, which is known as the largest domestic cat breed in the world. They can weigh up to 18 pounds, measure in at over three feet long, and come in about 75 different color combinations.
This particular Maine Coon got a bit excited when the owner brought out his favorite pink feather cat toy. He most likely enjoyed this toy because it's about the size of their natural prey (mice).
It's Time For A Selfie
The true bond between this owner and her Corgi is evident in this photo. Both have posed for a sweet and hilarious selfie by smiling with their mouths wide open.
This specific breed of Corgi is called a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and dates back to 1107 CE. They were originally used as herders because their low bodies would help them nip at the legs of the cattle to keep them moving. According to a Welsh legend, Corgis are considered enchanted and are ridden by fairies and elves at night.
Sweet Dreams, Sleeping Beauty
There's a reason why they call it a cat nap. This orange cat is pictured in a deep sleep and looks as comfortable as can be while sticking his tongue out.
Starting in the early 19th century, people would start using the term "cat nap" to describe short periods of sleep. Cats usually sleep for 12 to 16 hours a day, but are known for frequent short naps in the sunlight. The phrase has evolved to "power nap."
What Are You Looking At?
The Water-Bubble Eye goldfish isn't the typical variety of fish people usually find at the pet store. It's a fancy goldfish with upward-pointing eyes that are filled with large fluid sacs.
This big-eyed fish may look a little funny at first glance, so getting a good photo of it underwater can be challenging. This type of goldfish requires a lot of extra care and shouldn't be kept with other fish.
He Literally Posed With Bunny Ears
While some people might think it's funny to pose holding up two fingers behind the other person's head, this kid took that to a new level. He literally did the bunny ear pose by holding up his pet bunny's ears.
Judging by the look of the girl behind him, she was not amused by what he was doing. The bunny doesn't look too thrilled either, but doesn't mind the attention he's getting from the kids.
A Perfectly-Timed Aquarium Photo
A young girl visiting her local aquarium couldn't hide her excitement much longer when she met this Beluga whale. Juno the whale was ready to strike a pose for the camera at just the perfect moment.
Getting a photo like this is a once in a lifetime experience and she'll get to remember her whale encounter for the rest of her life. Although the whale isn't her pet, they now share a strong bond as good friends.
The Doctor Is In
This Exotic Shorthair is seen modeling a pink nursing uniform at a national cat show. The look on her face makes it seem as if she doesn't have a clue about what's going on, but isn't going to let that stop her from competing.
There are many cat shows around the world where felines are judged on breed standards. Companion or moggy cats are also judged on their temperament. This cat surely won first place for her ridiculous costume!
Pugs Have More Fun
One of the most unique events in Ukraine is a pug party where owners bring their pugs to play and take photos together. This pug sure had a bunch of fun that day because she couldn't hide her smile behind her giant tongue.
Pugs originated in China before 400 BCE and lived the life of luxury. They were treated like royalty and were given their own miniature palaces and guards. When pugs are in a group, it's called a grumble. Grumble is derived from the Dutch translation of pug.
No Pictures, Please
Many felines consider their backyards to be like a jungle, so they enjoy spending time alone exploring. This angry cat thought she was alone, but her mood suddenly changed when she saw the camera come out.
Even with plenty of prompting for a smile or simply a neutral expression, the cat wouldn't have it and plastered on her most furious facial expression. What happened after this photo was snapped is a mystery, but the odds don't seem favorable.
Everyone Say Goat Cheese!
The fact that someone got all of these goats to pose together for a photo is something spectacular. These goats live in a small village in China where they are free to graze around all day.
Goats were one of the first animals to be tamed by humans around nine thousand years ago and can be taught to come when their name is called. Since they are herd animals, they will become depressed if they are kept away from their family and friends.
A Match Made In Heaven
This horse was quite surprised to see a member of the royal family (the Countess of Wessex) at his race and they both flashed each other the biggest smiles. This horse belongs to Sir Mark Todd and is named NZB Campino.
It's hard not to notice his giant teeth, which are just a few of the 205 bones in their body. Since their eyes are on the side of their head, they are capable of seeing 360 degrees.
Stop Clowning Around
It's difficult to get a photo of a hedgehog posing for the camera, but this clown seemed to get some reaction out of him. The contrast between their two faces is hilarious.
The woman in the clown outfit runs a special needs center for children with her husband and one of their activities is introducing the kids to some cute animals. It may look like this hedgehog is squinting because they have poor sight. Hedgehogs have to rely on their smell and hearing as part of their nocturnal lifestyle.
A Cross-Species Friendship To Remember
These Saint Bernard dogs were in for a treat when they met up with their pal Hansie the goat. The Saint Bernards took him in as part of their family and now Hansie thinks he's a Saint Bernard as well.
By the look on the Saint Bernards' faces they aren't too sure about accepting Hansie into their family, but in the end they were all really happy together. There are plenty of animals who find joy with other species, such as tiger cubs and puppies.
It's Like Looking In A Mirror
The cat snow sculpture may not look exactly like this Van cat, but there are some similarities. Van cats are known for their silky white fur, different colored eyes, great hunting skills, and love of the water.
These cats are highly intelligent, agile, playful, and faithful to their owners. Most Van cats can only be found in the Lake Van region of Turkey and it's common to see them swimming in the water. They have been living in this region for centuries.
Why This Yorkie Terrier Looks A Bit Different
At first glance, this photo of a Yorkie Terrier may look a bit strange. That is because Buzz has to run in an abnormal way due to surgery that was supposed to fix his two broken legs.
There aren't too many other dogs who have this condition, but he manages to continue living his life to the fullest. Running upright as a dog is very challenging and Buzz is proving his veterinarians wrong by having almost full motor function.
