The Kitesurfing President
Barack Obama definitely knew exactly how to kick off his exit from the white house. This photo, taken on February 1, 2017, shows the President kitesurfing at Richard Branson’s Necker Island retreat. The former president and his family visited the British Virgin Islands for some much-deserved rest and relaxation. The trip occurred only 11 days after Barack, Michelle, and the rest of the Obama family cleared out of the White House to make way for Donald Trump. Photos of the vacation quickly went viral and showed an even more laid-back side of Obama. After eight years running the United States, this is the type of vacation we’d be looking to take as well.
