Before he was the President of the United States or even a Junior Senator from Illinois, Barack Obama was a community organizer. The former POTUS got back to his roots on January 16, 2017, when he visited the Jobs Have Priority Naylor Road Family Shelter in Washington, D.C. Barack Obama and Michelle Obama jumped into action, helping paint a beautiful mural of the deceased equal rights leader. Barack Obama has continued to push an agenda of community and global involvement since stepping out of his role as POTUS. His tweets have proven effective in diverting attention away from moments of hate as we’ll soon see.
