Nobody would adopt this amazing cat and then it all made sense

Employees of the Lorca Animal Hospital were having the hardest time finding a forever home for Lou the cat. The employees couldn’t understand how such a sweet, docile, and affectionate cat was being passed over by so many potential owners.

Week after week the amazing cat was being ignored, even though they were one of the sweetest animals at the shelter — then it all made sense.

A 14-year-old girl named Laura Gonzalez entered the shelter in Spain and immediately fell in love with Lou. The little girl suffers from a rare neurological and physical disorder and her mother, Isa, was on the hunt for a therapeutic companion animal for her daughter.

Isa adopted Lou and brought him home to Laura where the two immediately hit it off. Isa was so impressed with the connection the pair made that she filmed them together.

“We didn’t understand why Lou couldn’t find a family, being such a docile and affectionate cat. Now we understand everything,” Lorca Animal Hospital wrote in a post online. “He was waiting for little Laura, that is the name of this wonderful angel, and her mom Isa. Thank you, Isa, for opening your heart a little more and giving this opportunity to Lou.”
