Richard Clarkson Studio has created “The Cloud,” A lamp that looks and sounds exactly like a thunderstorm.
The lamp uses motion detectors and a wireless base station to mimic the look and sounds of a real outdoor thunderstorm, minus the outside element and the messy rain.
The lamp also allows buyers to sync its speakers with Bluetooth to enjoy some music while watching your artificially created thunderstorm.
The Cloud was created using felted hypoallergenic fiberfill formed into a sponge casing.
The lamp features nighttime and music reactive modes
The designers have created open source code for the lamp, allowing users to improve upon its current design features.
The clouds casing features a wireless box with speakers built-in.
