This lady is sailing all over the world with her water loving cat

Tropicat

Liz Clark is sailing around the world in her 50 foot long sailboat called the Swell.

Her photos from her adventures, like many sailors before her, include idyllic photos of sunsets and amazing locations.

But the real star of her photos is her water loving first mate: Amelia the Tropicat.

Amelia the Tropicat sails everywhere that Liz Clark sails and she really seems at piece surrounded by all of that water.

Liz Clark is a bit of a hippie, sharing stories about Mother Earth and her adventures on her Instagram account. She even asks her followers to stop using plastic products.

Tropicat might not be a hippie but she does love attacking birds who land on the sailboat.

Tropicat does however help Liz promote her clean earth initiatives by posing in photos.

Liz tells BuzzFeed that she adopted Tropicat at six months and she quickly got her sea legs.

She has adapted to living surrounded by water…She’s learned to trust that she will be safe with me.

On calm nights, she fishes off of a soft top surfboard attached to the side of Swell with a small light that attracts fish…

She has to go out of a cat comfort zone often… But I think she now understands that I will keep her safe and she will have a lot of fun in the end. She makes Swell feel much more like a home.

Her kitty might love the sea but it prefer to hide inside during the rain.

This whole nervous storm preparation really wore her out…we're all tucked in, anchor set…💨⚓️😾😁

This adventurous kitty also love the beach.

And Liz has found a pretty unique way to travel on land with her furry friend.

Tropicat once fell off a canoe and was lost for several days.

Her fans actually mourned her loss but then something amazing happened.

Now that’s one tempting fish.
