Charlie Mirsky Joined Calderon On The Hill

Joining Calderon was the junior classmate to speak to the task force was Charlie Mirsky. He said, “For us, it touched home, we lost friends, we lost teachers, and it changed our lives forever. And now, this is our mission.” Mirsky and Calderon weren’t the only young people invited to speak.
Supporting the two Parkland survivors were students from Miami, Chicago, and Rockville. These students have never experienced a school shooting and would like to see changes, so they never have to. Their message was simple, “we have to act now because tomorrow isn’t promised.” Next, how one student is using silence to keep his voice heard!
