Julia Cordover Set The Tone For Graduation

As class president, Julia Cordover had high expectations for herself before giving a speech at graduation. When she got on stage, she said, “We will never forget our fallen Eagles. They will always be in our thoughts and in our hearts. Our struggle is part of our story. It doesn’t define us. Let it motivate us.”
What followed wasn’t just a celebration of those students still alive, but also of those fallen. Jimmy Fallon surprised the students by appearing as a guest. After Cordover spoke, he backed up her message with his own, “You’re the present. You are changing the world. So keep changing the world and keep making us proud.”
