Kayla Renert Will Continue To March

Kayla Renert joined her classmates at the March for our Lives rally in Washington in March. For her, the marching doesn’t end there, “We worked hard to make Douglas the last mass school shooting and unfortunately three months later there was another.”
In an interview, Renert recalled riding the bus to the rally in Washington. She remembers everyone in the group saying, “never again.” That’s still the goal, but after Santa Fe High School it’s clear there is still work to do to reach it. Coming up, these students didn’t attend Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, but are still making a difference!
