The 90s-era sitcom Friends created one of the most iconic opening TV sequences of all time. In the original version the Friends are focused on hanging out with each other and even make eye contact with the camera. The team at YouTube channel Nerdist have re-created the opening sequence for the Millennial generation. As expected the Millennial friends are too absorbed in their smartphones to bother with any type of interaction.

The new version is hilarious and sadly accurate for the Millennial generation. A Friends reboot focused on Millennials would be incredibly boring.
