Warning: These Floofy Cats May Give You The Sudden Urge To Snuggle

Whether you love cats or can't stand them, we're fairly confident that these floofy cats will cause you to suddenly crave being submerged in something soft. We aren't just talking about big cats; even a kitten can grow an impressive layer of absolute fluff. Here are some cats that are so submerged in their own fur that if it weren't for their eyes, you might mistake them for shag rugs or soft pillows. Get ready to get floofy.

Just Hanging On My Kitty Structure

This kitten's fur is so gigantic that it makes the cat look rather unstable on its play structure. What's funny is that the cat's actual body likely fits the square seat rather nicely.

With fur that floofy, it's hard to tell where the fur ends and the cat begins. The cat itself doesn't seem to mind its giant layer of fur covering its body. The expression on its face appears to convey that it doesn't know what the big deal is.

The Cutest Kitten You've Ever Seen

Kittens are just about the cutest thing on the planet. As it turns out, they're even cuter when they're covered in super floofy fur. It also helps that this kitten is curled up in a ball.

In addition to the fur and the adorable position it's in, the cuteness factor goes even higher when you realize why it's in that position. The little kitten is licking its hind paws and scrunching up its baby face to try and reach.

We realize that all cats curl their back in order to sit down. However, the curvature of this cat's back is seriously exaggerated by its giant layer of floofy fur. Despite being seated in front of a white wall, this cat is hardly in camouflage with all of that fur.

What's funnier is that the cat doesn't seem to be doing anything but showing off. It's literally looking at a blank wall as this photo is taken. It knows we're checking out its fur.

Who, Me?

This cat seems incredibly indifferent for having such a luscious coat of fur on its back. If we looked like that, we'd probably go strutting down the street with our nose held high in the air.

The cat looks like it could stand to lose a few pounds, but that's only because its body is completely buried in its thick layer of fur. Deep down, this cat is just like any other cat, and it apparently wants to be treated as such.

Floofy Trance

This cat appears to be suffering from what we'll call a floofy trance. The cat gets so comfortable in its own fur, that it loses all mobility skills. Frozen in its giant ball of fluff, it's best to just let the cat be.

If you look closely at its eyes, you can see its daze-like stare into absolutely nothing. It's like the cat is daydreaming about leaping through miles of open pastures of its own fur.

Remember that movie Shrek? If you do, you'll probably remember Puss in Boots, the fighter cat whose trademark movie was to distract its enemies with its adorable, big-eyed look. If you don't know what we're talking about, Google it and then compare it to this photo.

In short, this little kitten is irresistibly cute with those round, black eyes. The fact that they're burrowed in a giant ball of floofy fur is just an awesome bonus.

Not Your Average Cat In A Sink

Cats love to lounge in sinks. The phenomenon is so prevalent that any cat owner will not be surprised to see their furry friend preventing them from brushing their teeth. However, this cat takes the already-adorable position to a new level.

Presumably, cats love the bathroom sink because it suits their size and round backs. This cat barely fits into the sink. Its fluffy fur is pouring out of the sink and spilling all over the counter. Although, with all of that cushion, it probably can't even tell.

This fluffy ball of white fur is just being to be snuggled. Everything about its disposition screams, "Come here, you old cat-lover, you." It knows the power it has over humans, and is happy to use that power for good.

The cat looks like a shag carpet against the hardwood floors. If it weren't for its paws reaching out for a hug, it might be harder to tell it was even a cat to begin with.

This furball definitely has some sass buried in that thick layer of floof. Its eyes look like it isn't too happy about being picked up under its front paws like that. However, it does make the cat look all the cuter.

Check out all the fur shoved up to its face, and those fluffy paws dangling just underneath. Happy or not, you can't help but want to lean in and kiss that tiny little nose.

Such A Standout

This floofy cat especially stands out thanks to the multi-colored backdrop of the rug it's laying on top of. Its white and gray fur is the complete opposite of the brightly colored, striped flooring beneath.

Next to the furry cat, that rug looks entirely uncomfortable. Then again, it's understandable why the homeowners would choose that over a shag rug: to avoid losing their cat every day. Imagine any time your cat sat on your fluffy, white rug it just disappeared.

Talk About A Fur Coat

Like many mammals, cats are able to keep warmer in the snow thanks to their floofy fur coats! You have to admit that you feel a tinge of envy seeing a cat chilling in the snow without a care in the world, thanks to its naturally-occurring fur.

Especially for those of us from warm climates, seeing a cat in the snow may be shocking. However, anyone would probably enjoy colder climates if they were wrapped up in a big floof ball from head to toe.

This fluffy cat is perfectly content on its windowsill looking out at the winter rain. The scene looks so cozy with the dark, wet weather outside and the cat warm inside in its long and thick coat of fur.

The cat looks like it's daydreaming about a white Christmas. If it's lucky, maybe it will get some new cat toys from Santa. Then again, what more could you need when you have a giant layer of floofy fur?

Don't You Dare Touch Me

Persian cats tend to look like they're unsatisfied with your presence. This one looks angry at the person behind the lens who dared to take a photograph of its luscious and perfect fur coat.

While the cat is clearly a ball of fluff, its fur is longer and straighter than some of the other cats we've seen. Its tail is so long, in fact, that it practically could be a horse's tail. We're ashamed to say we're a little bit jealous.

Cat Like A Blow Fish

This cat appears to be leery of something in the corner. Its fixed, wide eyes and hunched down appearance lead us to believe that someone just walked into the room, and this cat does not know the person.

Its fur coat is adorable. However, given the timidness of the cat, its round coat reminds us of a blowfish that's expanded out of defense. How funny it would be if all cats had so much floof hidden around their body that could expand at any time?

At this point, we've seen a couple of photographs of fluffy cats laying on their backs. However, this one just might take the cake. This fluffy cat is nearly buried in all of its fur.

It looks like this fluff ball may have too much hair to handle. Its tiny face is practically drowning in its own fur. And its paws can barely reach beyond its floof. We would even dare to say that this cat just might be ready for a trim.

Though cats and lions belong to the same animal subfamily, they don't often resemble one another. However, something about the fuzziness of this cat's orange fur is like that of a lion's mane.

What we mean is that it looks as though someone shaved a lion's mane and pasted it all over this cat. Just looks at that tail flare. It could also be the work of a good brush and a blowdryer. The stars of the '70s would be jealous.

Fluffy As A Cloud

While all of these cats are undoubtedly fluffy, it takes a different kind of fur to look weightless as a cloud. It could just be the way the picture is focused, but this cat's fur looks as soft as the fluffy white mounds we love to fly through.

You can tell that the owner of this cat takes special care to groom it regularly. We'd also like to ask what kind of shampoo they use.

Cotton Candy Cat

Where the last cat looked like a cloud, this one looked more like a grumpy bushel of cotton candy. The long and straight but extremely fine strands of fur look like the fluffy strands of sugar that are a favorite at country fairs.

The funny thing is how the light-hearted vibe of this cat's cotton-candy fur is completely trumped by its pronounced frown and deep-red eyes. You can't take this cat seriously when it's mad with fur like that.

Snow-Kissed Kitty

The common phrase "sun-kissed" doesn't have anything on this snow-kissed cat. When you imagine snow covering your bare skin, it doesn't seem very pleasant. However, seeing a cat buried in its thick, fur coat and getting snow-kissed looks pretty nice.

So nice, in fact, that we nearly want to join the cat in the falling snow. Surely, all of that fur has to be warm enough for the two bodies. That cat looks warm enough to travel through a snowstorm without blinking.

Is That A Guinea Pig?

This kitten is so submerged in its long fur that it appears to be the same circumference as a basketball. While we know its a kitten, its round ears and fluffy body oddly resemble a guinea pig.

It could be any species and we'd still find it to be one of the cutest pets alive. A kitten that small doesn't look like it's even old enough to have grown so much fur. Its momma must be proud.
