High School Musical
In 2006, Zach Efron made his triumphant introduction to the masses in High School Musical. High School Musical has been described as a modern-day Romeo & Juliet and tells the story about two high school juniors from rival cliques. Although they’re very different, when they discover they both love music, their worlds don’t seem so far apart.
The straight-to-television flick quickly became the most successful Disney Channel Original Movie ever produced. Not only did the film win two Emmys, but it spawned a book series, videos game, reality series and even an ice tour.
