If you didn’t see Judy Garland sing “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” in Meet Me in St. Louis, you might recognize Frank Sinatra’s version with slightly more optimistic lyrics from 1957. Even Garland’s version was originally bleaker before she and director Vincente Minnelli intervened.
