She Cried When She Realized She Needed To Lose Weight
Wayne and Lindsay Burns of the United Kingdom met online and bonded over their struggles with weight. Lindsay tells Mirror that her breaking point came one day in the shower, “I couldn’t reach behind myself to wash my own back. I tried squirting soap behind me, using a sponge on a stick. But I just couldn’t reach. I burst into tears.” For Wayne, he realized he needed to change after the birth of their daughter. They both admitted to weight loss surgery but said, “Surgery takes away the weight, but it doesn’t take away the problem. You have to do that bit yourself.”
