Having to pack up your bags and go to a new city with a new team can be exciting and mysterious at the same time. Going into any new environment can stir up a lot of emotions, so it’s essential that teams make their new player feel as welcomed as possible.
For Shin-Soo Choo, he figured bringing his whole family to the press conference would help him adjust. When he was introduced to the Texas Rangers in 2013, both of his children and wife were in attendance for the special moment.
