Antler the dog is a doting mama with a couple of pups, but that doesn’t mean they’re biologically hers. This sweet snap shared by Trio Animal Shelter shows a very tired Antler. Why is she so sleepy? Because being a mom is hard work – and she’s got a brand new kid under her roof. Little Possum, who appears to have some husky blood in him, curled right up to the sleepy mom. According to the shelter staff, “her momma instincts kicked right in.” She’s been treating the puppy as her own and is undeniably a very, very good girl.
