Mohamed Massaquoi was a wide receiver that was the second-round pick for the NFL in 2009. He then went on to play for the Browns with 118 catches, 1,745 yards, and seven touchdowns throughout his career. Then, in April 2017, Massaquoi was involved in an ATV accident that resulted in him losing four of his fingers on his left hand.
Massaquoi was devastated because it was his hands that got him a scholarship, allowed him to play in the NFL, and gave him so much happiness through football. Although he went through a rough patch, he decided to look at his situation as an opportunity to learn about himself. He rose above his position rather than sulking about his misfortune, becoming an inspiration for others.
