A Mother And Son Reunited After Living In Two Different Countries

Not even a language barrier could keep this mother and son from expressing their love. David Amaya Barrick returned to the United States after 30 years in Mexico speaking only Spanish. Upon seeing his mother, he said, “I love you, and I missed you a lot. I welcome you into my life.”
His mother, Kathy Amaya, only speaks English. She said, “I love you, and I’m very happy to see you, and I’m not going to let you go.” Then they embraced, and no more words were lost in translation.
