Fred Hodgkins was 76-years-old when he found Fred Ford and Carole Cox, his long-lost half-siblings. Carole and Grahame (now Fred Ford), were given up for adoption when Gladys Hodgkins gave birth while her husband was deployed in Egypt.
Carole, it turns out, was given to Glady’ best friend Connie, who was unable to have children of her own. Despite growing up less than 100 yards apart, the two never met. They even drank at the same pub! When Fred and Grahame reunited, they began an 18-month search for Carole. Now the family meets weekly. Next up, dreams came true for these best friends who found out they were brothers.
