Mary Rose Stalnaker Thought She Was Alone Until Her Cousin Found Her

Mary Rose Stalknaker was 90-years-old and convinced she was the only child from her generation when her cousin found her. The reunion came after her granddaughter noticed a picture of Stalnaker with another child. Kelle Jones decided to take her investigation to Facebook.
The other child in the photo was Mildred Pierce Spencer, the cousin Mary didn’t remember she had. When the met, Stalnaker was overwhelmed. Jones described the scene, “My nana is usually like, ‘I don’t know these people,’ but there she is tearing up.” And now we’re tearing up, too!
