A four-year-old in Alexandria, Virginia is in remission after battling cancer for most of his life and his mother wanted to make his birthday extra special this year. Whitaker Weinburger is a massive fan of the 'Bumblebee' character from the Transformers franchise and his mother wanted to use this as a theme to celebrate.

She asked the community for help celebrating his birthday and her plea went viral.
"He's been through multiple surgeries, many rounds of chemo, 2 bone marrow transplants, radiation, and antibody therapy," his mother posted on Facebook. "He is stable and has been for about a year now. And we are ready to celebrate him!"
The Alexandria Sheriff's Office helped spread the word and people who owned yellow vehicles came from all over to help "transform" Whitaker's walk to school.
Jeremy Levy, the man who voiced Bumblebee in the Transformers films, even heard about the celebration and send Whitaker a personalized message from the character.
Whitaker received gifts from those who couldn't attend the event and even received a small yellow customized car from The Northern Virginia Tesla Owners Society.
