90-year-old Agnes was facing fines up to $2500 per day because of debris and trash that was dumped at her home by relatives.
A neighbor reported her and because of her age and inability to walk very well, there was no way she could handle the cleanup on her own.
With her house in dire need of repair and piles of trash in her front and back yard, dialing one final number was her last hope.
The following morning, volunteers from Operation Blessing knocked on her door and began one of the most amazing acts of kindness I’ve ever seen.
This group of volunteers definitely went above and beyond to make sure Agnes would have no more troubles with the city and would even live a slightly more comfortable life inside her home.
