Hailey Fort is only 9-years-old, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have the drive or the means to help homeless people.
This amazing little girl isn’t just volunteering at local shelters or putting up a lemonade stand to help the homeless, she’s building them tiny houses to stay warm and dry.
She’s only 9-years-old but Hailey already knows that she wants to be a homeless shelter director when she gets older.

With more than 500,000 homeless people in the United States, there is simply not enough shelters for all homeless people.
Fort has been targeting the “chronically homeless” or people who can go years without finding a home or a steady shelter.
With the help of some handy adults she builds 8 x 4 ft shelters that can be lived in.
The little homes feature windows, door locks and insulation.
