This Cat Dialed 911 To Get Their Owner Help
Tommy the cat amazed rescue workers after they dialed 911 to get help for their owner.
When a police officer walked into the home in January 2006 they found an orange-and-tan striped cat lying by a telephone on the living room floor.
Cat owner Gary Rosheisen was on the ground near his bed having fallen out of his wheelchair.
Rosheisen told the officer that Tommy must have hit the right buttons to call 911.
“I know it sounds kind of weird,” Officer Patrick Daugherty said, after unsuccessfully searching for some other explanation.
Rosheisen was unable to pick himself up because of pain from osteoporosis and ministrokes that disrupt his balance.
The man usually wears a medical alert bracelet but did not have it on at the time of his fall.
Our next hero cat saved their family from a deadly gas they couldn’t detect.
