IKEA uses kid-inspired stuffed animals to help raise millions for charity

IKEA recently started a creative competition for kids of any age and its efforts have raised millions of dollars for charity.

Children in more than 40 countries were invited to draw their very own “dream soft toy.”

The kids’ drawings were reviewed last year and ten of the wackiest and sweetest were selected to become actual toys for sale in the Swedish furniture stores worldwide.

IKEA pledged to donate 1 euro ($1.10) for each toy sold, then donate the entire fund to UNICEF and Save The Children.

Millions of dollars have been raised for charity and we can’t understate how amazing the kids felt when they completed their creations and watched them come to life.
