This cop saved a kitten and now they fight crime together

Cop saves kittens and fights crime

Cody Garrett is a 28-year-old cop from South Carolina and also a lover of animals.

He was recently working the late shift on Saturday night when another officer responded to a call and heard a small animal crying under a dumpster nearby.

What the police officer discovered was a ginger kitten that was all alone and cold.

He jumped into action and rescued the little kitten.

The officers brought the kitten back to the station, but they weren’t quite sure what to do with the poor little cat.

“I don’t know why they didn’t want it but I offered to take it,” Garrett told Buzzfeed.

His cat, Toothless, was nursing four kittens at home and Garrett figured she might accept the homeless kitten as one of her own.

The good news? His kitten accepted the task at hand and helped save the newly discovered kitten.
