If you like to go swimming in rivers and lakes, you might want to re-think your decision. After checking out these 9 world-record holding catches, I’m thinking a nice public or private swimming pool is the way to go.

Sure most of these fish keep to themselves and won’t attack a human, but they sure do make my skin crawl.

In 2009, Japanese fisherman, Manabu Kurita, caught a 22lb. 4oz. largemouth bass. While he didn’t beat the 1932 world record, he did tie it.
